He died 40 years ago, but the case is yet to be solved

Four decades ago, an eight-year-old boy vanished while he was walking home from a parade. He was missing for months, before his body was tragically discovered in a lake.

To this day, no one has been charged with his murder. It is a case that has brought an inexplicable amount of grief, sorrow and anguish to everyone who knew him. For many years now, it’s feared his death may never be fully understood.

However, police have announced that they will be conducting another review of the case, in the hopes of finding something that could have been passed over, not registered, or just looked at in a different way.
